Our Misson

To empower children to become compassionate, healthy, and confident individuals who will lead the way to a brighter future. Through our adaptable curriculum and holistic approach, we ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Founded in 2025, Mini Scholars is an independent early years setting based in Round Green Ward, Stopsley, Luton.

We pride ourselves on being a close-knit nursery where every child is valued and supported. Our nurturing environment welcomes children from 2 years to 5 years, offering a place that feels both inspiring and inclusive.

Play is at the heart of everything we do. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity, independence, and meaningful friendships. Through daily exploration — indoors and outdoors — children build confidence and discover the joy of learning.

At Mini Scholars, children are empowered to make choices, try new things, and develop the self-belief and social skills that form a strong foundation for life.

Our Vision

To foster every child’s growth by providing a safe, inspiring, and inclusive space where they can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. We believe in nurturing curiosity and creativity while promoting sustainability and cultural awareness.

Our Purpose

Open door, Open hearts: Staying Connected with Parents

At Mini Scholars Nursery, we believe that children flourish when families are actively involved in their learning. Our open door approach means that communication between parents and staff is always welcomed and encouraged, helping to build strong, trusting relationships.

Throughout the year, we hold parent–teacher meetings to discuss your child’s progress, and a comprehensive end-of-year report provides a full overview of their development.

There are many ways for families to get involved in nursery life—reading stories, supporting creative projects, helping on outings, baking for special events, or assisting with performances. Opportunities are shared through our newsletters and notice boards. Being part of our nursery community is not only rewarding for children, but also a fun and meaningful way for parents to engage in their child’s early learning.

Daily updates: At drop-off and pick-up, we share highlights from your child’s day — the activities they enjoyed, friends they played with, and any milestones or special moments. It’s a simple way to keep you connected and celebrate each day’s achievements.

Tapestry app: Access photos, observations, and a personalised care diary that captures your child’s learning and experiences.

Parent-teacher meetings: Regular meetings allow us to discuss progress, set goals, and share strategies to support your child both at nursery and at home.

End of Year Reports: Each child receives a detailed report highlighting achievements, milestones, strengths, and areas for further development. The report also includes examples of learning in action and guidance to continue growth at home.
